This observance is a peaceful and prayerful event that attracts thousands of Arkansans from across the state including churches and families to remember the estimated 60-plus million unborn children killed by legal abortion.

This event, sponsored by Arkansas Right to Life (ARTL), will remember the 53rd anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in the United States on January 22, 1973.

** PLEASE NOTE! **The following streets will be barricaded at Capitol Avenue beginning at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 19 for the March for Life: Woodlane Street, Victory Street, Pulaski Street, Cross Street, Ringo Street, Chester Street, Izard Street, and State Street. Parking is free on Sunday at closed business lots that are not gated, pay to park, or posted “No Parking.”Parking is available behind and in front of the State Capitol and on side streets. If the lot is open at Capitol and Woodlane Streets access from 4th Street and Victory Street to enter.NO PARKING on Capitol Avenue from Woodlane to State Street. The Arkansas State Capitol restrooms will be open to the public.​​​​
