2012 Arkansas Right To Life
Oratory Contest

The oratory contest is open to high school juniors and seniors.
To enter students must research, write and present as an oration an original speech
on abortion, infanticide, euthanasia or stem cell research lasting
between 5-7 minutes.
Deadline to enter is February 15, 2012.
Regional contests will be held Saturday, February 25 and the
state finalist contest will be held on Saturday, March 3.
The state winner will receive an expense paid
trip to the 2011 National Right to Life Convention
June 28-30 in Washington, DC to compete in
the Jane B. Thompson National Oratory Contest for
the
following
cash prizes ranging from $250 to $1,000. 1st and
2nd place regional winners receive cash.
9th and 10th grade students may participate in
the State Contest but will not be eligible to compete
in the Jane B. Thompson National Oratory Contest
if they win.
